 Wetlands Reserve Enhancement Program (WREP) in New Jersey
 

FY 2012 Wetlands Reserve Enhancement Program (WREP) Signup NRCS is now accepting proposals for General Wetlands Reserve Enhancement Program (General WREP). General WREP is a component of the Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP) through which NRCS the enters into agreements with eligible partners to target and leverage resources to carry out high-priority wetland protection, restoration, and enhancement activities and improve wildlife habitat on eligible lands.

Who May Apply

 Only States, local units of government, Indian Tribes and non-governmental organizations are eligible to submit a proposal and enter into agreements with NRCS. WREP partners are required to contribute matching financial or technical assistance.

Where To Apply

Partners must submit proposals to Don Pettit, the NRCS-NJ State Conservationist by February 10, 2012. For proposal requirements and review criteria, see the General WREP Announcement.
