Interdisciplinary Team Report

Blairstown, New Jersey

NRCS assistance was requested by Blairstown to assess the existing flood conditions in the historic village of Blairstown. An interdisciplinary team visited the area and reviewed the options and programs that might be available to reduce flood damages that have occurred there three times (September 2004, April 2005 and June 2006) in the last 21 months. Their report was completed on July 19, 2006.

Mt. Laurel Township, New Jersey

NRCS assistance was requested by Mount Laurel Township to assess the existing flood conditions along the North Branch of the Pennsauken Creek. An interdisciplinary team visited the area and reviewed the options and programs that might be available to reduce flood damages that have occurred there multiple times (September 1940, August 1971, July 14, 1994 and July 12, 2004). Their field investigation took place on February 9, 2007.
